If you’re in the middle of planning your fast-fashion shopping list for the spring, then you’ll be happy to learn that Kohl’s just released the full lookbook for its upcoming collaboration with Derek Lam, complete with price points for each item. The collection includes plenty of solid-colored, office-appropriate dresses at affordable prices, in case you’re looking for new pieces to wear to work this season. Or, if you’re on the hunt for more fun options, the line includes a variety of weekend looks, as well. If you’re really in the mood to start thinking about the summer, the collection includes 15 swimwear pieces, too. Just because it’s cold outside doesn’t mean we can’t think about the beaches where we’ll be relaxing in the upcoming months!
Derek Lam took his inspiration for the collection from a trip to Rio de Janeiro, and the location’s fun, carefree atmosphere is apparent in the pieces. Bright colors and patterns will have you longing for the upcoming months when you can have fun in the sun.
This isn’t the first lower-priced designer collaboration we’ve seen this season, as the first was Prabal Gurung for Target, and next month will mark the launch of both Duro Oluwu and Georgina Chapman’s diffusion lines at JC Penney. The Derek Lam x Kohl’s clothing line will be available in stores and at kohls.com beginning April 5. The best part is that nothing in the collection will cost more than $88.
