Ashley Tisdale Launches Illuminate Cosmetics

Last week, actress and producer Ashley Tisdale launched her new makeup line Illuminate through a collaboration with BH Cosmetics. Her original line, that consists of eye, cheek and lip products, is allergy tested and cruelty-free. In “High School Musical,” Tisdale once sang “I want fabulous. That is my simple request” and fabulous is what we got because this line will not disappoint!

Her makeup line appears to be simplistic, which is a plus because everyone loves classic products. Her selection of neutral hues will do well because of their versatility. Who doesn’t love the basics with a shimmery twist?

The first palette, entitled “Beach Goddess,” includes 12 eye and cheek colors. They are a mix of matte and metallic products: blushes, bronzers, highlighters and eyeshadows. The tope and rose gold colors project a “sun-kissed” vibe that is perfect for the summer. The second palette is called “Night Goddess” because of its darker shades, such as a deep, plum purple. Both of these offerings include neutrals and subtle pops of color that are fit for any occasion!

In addition to these two palettes, Tisdale created a cream cheek and lip tint product that comes in six colors and is designed for all skin types. Not only does this two-in-one cosmetic save you money, but it also fosters a “less is more” vibe.

The final part of her makeup collection includes six shades of enhancing lip gloss, ranging from nude to bubble gum pink. These products will act as the icing on the cake. Everyone loves a clean, glossy finish.

On The Haute Mess’s website, Tisdale wrote a post about Illuminate commenting that, “I really wanted to come out with a collection that was accessible; something that everyone could get their hands on, but still be just as good as high-end products.” Tisdale achieved her goal because compared to other celebrity makeup lines, her prices are much more affordable. For example, one matte liquid lipstick from Kylie Jenner’s lip kits is $29, while Tisdale’s lip product is only $9. The most expensive item on Tisdale’s website is the palette, which is only $18.

Between her new makeup line and her clothing line Signorelli, we can’t wait to see what Tisdale will bring to the table next. There is no doubt that it will be fabulous!
